REV. ANDREW LEBLANC,
MINISTER OF MUSIC
Andrew joined the ministry team at Heritage in August of 2011. Andrew directs the Sanctuary Choir, the Sanctuary Handbells, and the “Silvertone Choir,” a choir for our senior members. He is passionate about music and worship. He has a wonderful gift of including both experienced and inexperienced singers in his choirs to bring forth a beautiful sound that glorifies God and brings joy to the congregation. Andrew’s passion is contagious for all who get to know him. Andrew previously served Crossgates UMC in Brandon, First UMC in Corinth, as well as churches in Florida and Tennessee. In addition to his ministry as a choral conductor, he has taught on university voice faculties in Texas and Alabama. Along the way Andrew has sung leading roles with orchestras in numerous oratorios, operas, and musicals throughout the southeastern states.
Additionally, Andrew serves as a Minister of Congregational Care. His caring heart brings comfort and the love of Christ to shut-ins, the elderly, and those who are hospitalized.
Andrew has a grown daughter, a son who is a student at University of West Florida, and two wonderful grandchildren. Andrew enjoys cooking (Cajun food), traveling, and being a grandfather!
