Music Ministry

Music was God’s idea.  In the Old Testament, God molded music and worship, a glorious union. King David appointed the tribe of Levi to become musicians.  Large choirs were used for flute, pipe, horn, trumpets, and other percussion instruments. The purpose of the choir is to sing for the glory of God and to provide an avenue of service for those who have been given a gift of music. 

Maybe you prefer to make your melodious tones with bells.  heritage is home to two Handbell Choirs, one for adults and one for youth.  Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons.

If you are aged 7th - 12th grade, we encourage you to become a part of the Heritage Youth Choir that performs throughout the year. The Youth Choir travels to participate in the Youth Cue event in Washington, D.C. and Texas every other year.  Join the Youth Choir for rehearsals every Sunday afternoon.

The Chancel Choir performs each Sunday morning at both worship services.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. New faces are always welcomed!
